I honestly don't get the hate for the newly revised White House Rose Garden. Perhaps because I expected worse, but still. It seems perfectly reasonable, and there are parts I rather like.

I do think exposing the wall behind the colonnade was a misstep, and that the trees were doing the space a real service by hiding the terrible fenestration. But at ( Read more... )
